I am responsible for creating photo-real digital environments for high end visual effect films.
I have a thorough knowledge of 3D and 2D pipelines, including modelling, surfacing and lighting digital assets; providing matte paintings, projected and composited scripts; photogrammetry and Lidar workflows; and working closely with the pipeline department and CG Supervisors to maintain, refine and improve environment generation of any scale.
I love my career, and I am constantly improving and expanding on various technologies and techniques through regular R&D both in and out of studio.

This included tracking shots in 3D and 2D space, lens distortion calculation and solving, aligning 3D sensefly geometry, modelling and texturing assets, rotoscoping/rotopainting, sky replacement, wire removal, and creating photorealistic matte paintings depending on requirements needed which were assessed on a per-shot basis.

Creating 3D assets and high quality sets from 2D concept artwork for an animated production (Environment Modeller position), and executing the cinematographic aspects of the film by creating digital camera compositions (Layout Artist position). This included character blocking, shot timing, continuity and flow within and between shots, camera placement and lens information, working with storyboards, and compiling 3D edits of each scene and sequence.
